I got this idea from another blogger. I love it. It's for my orts.

Here's really cute pic of Sophie. She love to stand. She's happy that Mike gave her the bag of Welch's Fruit Snack. She just love the sound & feel of it.

Car window repair

Mike said that the roller thing that comes with motor is broken & need to replace the whole thing. Mike think he might have broke it when he took the door panel apart few weeks back to fix the lock on door panel & he did some damage to the roller & Mike said the other guy at shop did rough around with it last summer when we took it in to get the window fix. They both being too rough with the window roller & they think they did damage to it. LOL Now Mike have to buy the whole new roller & we laughed at him because it's his fault & he gotta pay for it. LOL He think it's funny that it is his fault. We have rule here that one of us break it & pay for it depends on how you break it. It cost $320 to replace it including parts & labor.
This is small part that cannot be replaced by itself because it was built with the entire roller. That small part is the one Mike believe himself & the mechanic broke it (from last summer or so).
Here's the entire roller & you can see the small block (on your left) is a motor:

My neighbor's trees ~

My neighbors, Mark & Sharon, hired tree service to cut down their massive row of pine trees.

The history behind the neighbor's house & trees. Mike's friend used to live there & he moved away. Then Gwen & her husband move in sometimes in late 70s to early 80s. She is gardener & love plant many flowers/bushes/trees all over her yard. She planted those trees to lined up her property to obstruct the view of traffic. Gwen & her husband had to sell the house in mid 90s to move in with her husband's mom who was ill. Mark & Sharon moved in late 90s & live there ever since. In June 2006, the storm destroy Galestown bridge/dam which caused insects infested on our trees, bushes & flowers & it gotten so bad & killed a lot of plants/trees. They finally built the bridge/dam back in 2007-2008 before our Sophie was born. Sallie (Mike's Mom) have been living here since late 60s & saw so much change in the neighborhood. Her aunt, Rita, who live across from Mark & Sharon (just around the block from us) have lived here nearly her whole adult life. We don't know what's going on with those trees being cut down ~ all we knew is they want to cut them down for years. We will find out more from Ms Rita what are they planning to do ~ leave it like that or plant new trees.

Sallie is kind of happy gal right now because she always love the view of pond & her neighbors' houses for years til Gwen planted those trees. Also the breeze always come off the pond & those trees always block the breeze to our way.

Those trees are the ones they're cutting down along their property (those are remaining trees that haven't been cut down yet or not). Took this pic from the backyard:

Here's beautiful view of the pond & the bridge. There were trees that obstructed the view for us & we couldn't see anything before this. Now it would be easier for me to watch for girls' school bus coming home. We are happy to see they cut down those trees.
Front of our driveway ~ all trees are gone. Now we are able to view our neighbor's yard:
Those trees haven't cut down yet ~ don't know how far they are going to cut down those trees. As you can see right in front of you, the trees are damage due to insects.
That's where the crew left off from yesterday (see the difference between closure & opening)
Opening view (where they did most of tree cutting). Is it beautiful? She got beautiful yard. Every year, they did Christmas lights show & they did amazing job. My girls love seeing it every night & waiting for them to turn on the lights & screaming thru the windows that they turned on the lights.

Our Fourth of July ~

@ Hebron Firemen Carnvial, MD
We love it there at Hebron, MD ~ family friendly & carnival was opened & oh man! Many people but fun & friendly. Girls went on 2 rides & the rides were closed due to fireworks. The fireworks started at 10pm. We are going back next week to used up the rest of ride tickets. We park at good place because we could put girls on car hood & we stand next to them. Girls were impatiently for an hour but they were happy when the fireworks went off. The traffic wasn't so bad & the people were friendly on letting one other to take their turn. Much better than Laurel, DE where there are more aggressive drivers & full of teens. Definitely going back there next year. I met a grandmother of 4 going onto 5 yrs old twin girls ~ their birthday is on August 15th. She couldn't believe my girls are only 3 going onto 4. LOL Because my girls are taller & thinner than her girls ~ her girls a little short & chubby like babies. But her granddaughters are so cute. We didn't bring Sophie because we don't know how she would react & she might be upset & girls will get upset that Sophie is upset & leave in the middle of fireworks. But she had her own fireworks right at home & we were surprise that our town held fireworks show that we never knew.

Here are the girls deck up in red, white & blue (Sophie's first Fourth of July):

Flag Day Cake & Water Balloon Fight

Girls mixing the batter.

Sarah put the blue food coloring in white cake mixture ~
Faith put in red food coloring but it came out pink & she scolded at me for giving her pink. LOL

Girls are enjoying the mix batter ~ good old days

Here's Faith ~ all high & sweet

Here's Sarah ~ she won't put down the mixer

Here's Sophie ~ noticed her mouth. We spoil her by giving her mixture. She love it.

Water balloon fight while cake being cool off. I got wet more than girls did. They keep freaking out if I plan to throw them the balloons. I was trying to play balloon catch & they think they're gonna get hurt. LOL

Faith sprayed at Sophie & she got upset. Here I took the pic & doesn't she look like Elvis? LOL

Icing on the cake ~ Sallie helped out to cover the cake & we do the remaining.

Sophie was upset that we weren't pay attention to her til I pulled up her high chair & gave her the cars to play while we work on the cake.
Finish touch on cake with blueberries & strawberries
Ta-Da!
Proud girls ~ make their first flag cake

We got surprise visitor this morning

There is plane coming by & so close to our house. He's spraying the pond. Girls got really excited & I took them outside. We all waved & shout at the plane. It was fun & I saw the guy wave back but Sarah said she heard the guy doing something to the plane (some kind of noise ~ I couldn't hear of course). Here's close up:

I brought Sophie out at the last minute & she waved bye bye to the plane. LOL She's learning how to say hi & bye with her hand.

Girls & Garden

Here are the girls ~ enjoying their day in humid hot air. Planting flowers in Candace's honor for her birthday.

Here's Sophie with Star. We love that cat very much. He's very protective of girls & would stay by one of them if they were left alone. Girls & I were working on front yard while Sallie picking up the branches. We left her alone & Star joined her to watch her. She had fun grabbing his ears & he didn't mind (thank goodness). LOL

His fave place to get in shade & watch girls running around to make sure there aren't any dangerous to them.
Prepared to plant them in pots:
Here are the girls showing off their flowers:

Happy Birthday, Candace!!

Think I forgot ~ nope, I didn't but I was in rush this morning. However I got surprise for you & the girls did this in your honor. Love you!!

Simple things to make you smile

I blew up balloons for girls to play with.

Here's Sophie with the balloon for the first time. She threw a fit when girls wouldn't share the balloons with her. So I blew up the balloon for her.

Sarah & Faith
Waiting for the ceiling fan to stop & they could play with balloons.
