We're back ~ sunburned & fun!! Girls love it so much. I had hard time dragging them out of pool. Mike forgot the camera (but that's okay) we will go back in 2 weeks after Lisa's (Mike's sis ~ from GA) visiting next week. We had to cut it short because Sophie was cranky & not feeling well. Next time we aren't bringing her ~ so girls can enjoy their time in the pool a little longer.
Faith freaked out when she fell in the pool after slipped on the steps & wouldn't swim inside the pool or go to 3 ft area which Sarah play in. I would swim with girls to 5 ft area by carrying them & back to the pool steps. Faith starting to trust me & let me to let her come in to 3 ft (which stopped to their chins). They played for about 45 mins in 3 ft area. They love it.
Sophie freaked out & didn't like the float arms. But Mike took her & sat on the edge of pool. So she can sit in the water (on the step) & watch people.
Sarah told me that I can't dive (meaning go underwater) in the pool because I would drink the water & coughing it up & not good for me. LOL Faith would said I was scared but now I'm okay. LOL
It was fun. We walked back to my parents' house while Mike & Sophie take the car. We were too wet to get in the car but at least it is good exercise. Girls love the walking. We sat around & chatty for a while. We had to go & grabbed McDonald's to eat in the car. Girls had M&M for dessert. It was fun. I miss it so much. I did have few moments just to swim while Mike & my mom watched the girls. We only had to paid $5 for each adult.
My parents thought my bathsuit is very nice & look perfect on me.
I'm thinking about doing this next summer to community pool often. Girls love it so much. Mike agreed but he want to know the cost first.
It rain when we were coming home. Several storms & heavy rain. Perfect timing!

Oh my!!
Yesterday Sophie could climb on top of girls' bed. What happened is we leave bottom mattress (under the bed) open slightly because we afraid girls would roll off the bed & land themselves on the floor during the day & it is only way they could get on top of their bed by climbing on top of bottom mattress. Faith sleeps on the bottom mattress & Sarah sleeps in bed.
Anyway, if she want something so bad on girls' bed & she would climb up there. She knows how to get down by turn herself around & use her legs to touch the bottom mattress then do the same thing to touch the floor.

Delaware State Fair
girls are petting the baby chicks & they freak out when we offered them to hold the chicks. LOL
At petting zoo, they're petting donkey.
Faith & Sarah had to do this & be Farmer Brown. LOL Faith is below & Sarah is on your right.
Here is Sarah (in dark pink shirt) proudly to pet baby chick but won't hold it. Til later on, I helped her to hold one.
Up above is Faith, she got mad at me & said don't want to hold the chick. I told her to pet the chick & don't have to hold it. She said okay afterward.
Here are the working horses. They're all beautiful! Girls enjoy seeing huge horses. I told girls to go stand near the fence & I wanna take a pic. They wouldn't move a budge to get closer to fence. I asked girls why not? Sarah said he got huge ass & he's gonna poop on me. LOL
We watched for few moments to see what they were doing. They were pulling heavy fence to see how strong the horses are. So Sarah asked me what if the horses poop & the guys carried the rod behind the horses step in it. I laughed & told her that it is part of their job. They must've stepped in many poops at the farm & it's their job.
In many pictures, they wouldn't pose for me. So I just snapped them when I can.
Sarah said stinky!! But beautiful animals. Can't believe how huge those pigs are. LOL Tracy said eeww!! I said you know they're cleanest animals on planet. She laughed.
Here we are leaving the fair ground. Girls want trombones & they love it. Now they're driving Mike's Mom crazy with it. LOL
We went in one of building to get cool off. We saw that one of stand is giving away free balloons (not blow up) & Tracy went to grabbed 2 for girls. She blew up for Faith & Faith love it. Sarah freaked out & threw fit. She was so upset that tears fell out of her eyes. Tracy thought that Sarah want a balloon blow up but Sarah said no! She tried to pop Faith's balloon & crying to me. I told Sarah calm down & tell me what's wrong? She said there's ceiling fans on top & they're gonna pop the balloon. I laughed so hard & told her that it is okay as long as we hold on the balloon. Tracy was about to blow up one & I told her not to do it. I told Faith let me carry your balloon. What happened was, we have ceiling fans at home & not very high ceiling (maybe 8 ft from floor to ceiling). One time girls were playing with balloons & threw up in the air. The balloons got caught in the living room fan & the balloons got popped. Ever since we bring home balloons or blow up one, Sarah would go around the house to turn off the fans but some fans are hard to reach. She would make the balloons lock in Sophie's room (where there is no ceiling fan). LOL That's why she was freaking out.
Another moment is the lady offered us free juice with no sugar. We all grabbed it. Tracy & I drank it & said not bad. Girls drank it too & they just looked at each other & said nothing. The lady asked them was it good? Sarah said in her low voice no! LOL The lady said maybe if you drink some more & you will like it. So they did sip some more & gave each other a look. The lady said well? Sarah said what? She said does it taste good? Sarah looked at her & said no. We all laughed.
Another moment, one deaf guy thought my sister was deaf but my sister keep repeat to him that her sister (me) is deaf. he keep signing to her so fast & she couldn't understand him. LOL I knew his wife from school & he told me that today is the day where all deaf people comes in. But we saw more coming in when we left.
I turned down a lot of offers that people try to get my attention. One lady want to chat with me & I said no thank you. She was trying to sell organic body lotion, cream, whatnots. Tracy jumped in & said I will listen to you. The reason I said no thank you because it will be difficult to understand them chatty so fast & I can be rip off if I misunderstood them. So...my sister said sure. The woman said let me put creme on your back & she did. My sister said it felt so good but...I told her that she stinks in sign language. My sister laughed. Now when she was done, my sister said thank you. We walked away. She said omg! I stink! I laughed & said you fell for that crap & now you have to live with that. Sarah walk up to her & said you stinky! Tracy said thanks a lot. She tried to cover herself up with body spray & it didn't work. Girls said let's go. My sister said fine & tried to grabbed their hands & they freaked out & ran to me. LOL My sister said what's wrong with me? They turned to her & said you stink! LOL
Another moment is we met a robot & he adored the girls. He was talking to girls & gave my sister a handshake for have beautiful girls & my sister told him that I'm not the mommy ~ she is. I went thanks a lot! LOL The robot said I'm sorry. Can I give you a hug? I hugged the robot & he said oh yeah baby. We laughed. The robot was talking to me & my sister said she's deaf. The robot said oh my fault. I got no lips for her to read. LOL The robot asked girls to give him a hug. Faith did & Sarah said no! Robot said why not? Sarah said you freak! I went Sarah! She said he's weird! I said he's a robot & he is like that. Sarah said nope! I said at least shake your hand with him. & she did. He laughed & said now I'm gonna tell everyone that little girl called me freak. LOL Sarah blushed.
We didn't go on rides because they were so pricey. So we went to McDonald's for dinner & playland. We were enjoying our dinner there. Girls were playing with a boy same age with them. There were 4 teenagers boys hanging out in playland & I was wondering what are they doing here? The playland is built for 2 to 12 yrs old & parents are allow to go on it when necessary. So one teenager boy talked to Sarah & I didn't like that. They were in about 16 yrs old range. I called girls over & said don't talk to strangers. Sarah said why? I said because they can hurt you. Sarah went oh. They both went back up again but I saw 1 boy went up too after the girls. I said in mean tone to get girls down here asap. They thought they were in trouble then 2 other teen boys went up. I fed up & went told the manager to get them out. You never know what those boys might do to kids up there in tunnels. Sarah & Faith were eating their dinner. The manager told them to leave & said they're too big for those playland. The parents next to us did the same thing by take their son down too. All of kids went back playing again after the boys left. Sarah came to table & said I don't like him. I said him? Why not? She said he chased me & scared me. The father heard that & laughed to himself. I said so? go chasing him back. I think he is playing game with you like you do with Faith. Then she saw him went up & ran after him. LOL I met them & they have adorable 1 yr old son.
We came home. That's our day!

Regal Salisbury Stadium 16
I am unhappy with this cinema. Mike & I are hearing impaired & we check Fandango every Tuesday to see what movie will be showing in captioned (like subtitle). Right now the movie is Ice Age 3. So we just check to see what movie comes out on Friday which is Bruno. We were disappoint because we have been waiting for Transformers 2 for weeks. Now we are missing out on chance of going out on a date. We love dinner & movie date once in a while.Who want to watch Bruno?! Not me!
In January 2009, we waited for National Treasure 2 to come out in captioned & it never did. We were sad to miss that movie but we saw it on DVD anyway.
I sure hope they are thinking about Harry Potter will be captioned in few weeks.
I am gonna call them & talk to manager about this to see what we can do to make them pick better movies for hearing impaired.

Surprise news ~

I entered girls' pic on the beach in contest for kids on the beach pictures in local board as sponsored by Daily Times Newspaper. I won as a runner up. I won a beach towel & girls' picture will be in the papers this Thursday. They said I could add other picture of kids if I want. So I sent in Sophie's pic with our cat, Star sitting in red wagon outside front of our house. They're gonna published the pictures. I'm so excited & nervous. Mike is gonna pick up the towel & he is gonna buy several papers. LOL

Our rainy day yesterday!!
I was dog tired yesterday. I thought rain do make you relax but nope! When we got there, the weather was cloudy but not too bad. But it rain on/off more like showers. But we thought it would stop & move on but we had couple of downpours. Every time I go on rides with girls, it is downpour & when I get off, it stopped. That's funny!! I keep going on rides with girls & girls look at me & said your fault for making it rain. LOL Mike didn't go on rides ~ just couples. So we went on biggest roller coaster & Faith is allow on it but Sarah isn't. Sarah is one inch shorter than Faith & Sarah threw a fit & crying. I took them both down & said we cannot go on it. But Mike told me to take Sarah to other ride when he take Faith on it but I didn't agree. Sarah got upset all over again when she noticed that Faith is gone with Daddy & she knew where they went. She was crying & I comfort her. Mike took Sarah on SkyRide & Faith said she is happy to give that up to let Sarah have the experience. LOL She sure was nice to do that. Sarah begged me to go on water log ride & I said fine but last time we went on it & I got wet very little but the time ~ different story, I got wet big time (double wet from rain & ride). I was soak to my bones. We went on several more rides & Sarah said she was getting cold. We were about to leave. They have big pond with small metal bridge over it & only 5 people on it. So...Faith & Mike already went over it with 3 other people. So Sarah & I wait til they're off the bridge. We saw mama duck & little duckies trying to across the bridge from one side to other side (not across the water) & the boys behind me want to touch the duckies but Mama duck was upset & I told Sarah don't! She said Mama Duck is upset. I said I know. Not safe to touch duckies because Mama can bite you. So I blocked the path to let anyone on the bridge & let the Mama Duck & duckies to go over it. Mama Duck quacked at Sarah after we wait for her last one to cross over. LOL I told Sarah that she said thank you. Sarah smiled & we went on over the bridge. Sarah was talkactive to Mike & Faith about the ducks. That made her day.
Many people at the park but the lines for rides aren't too long. Just perfect. Many parents with kids especially little ones like one parents with few weeks old twins & toddler son. We saw some twins but a lot of kids.
Sophie stay home with Sallie. I'm glad that we left Sophie home or we would be worried about her & the rain.
We saw the sign on the way to park ~ it said "Dump body wanted for $600.00". LOL It meant dump body cart. They need to change that phrase. LOL Mike wished he could pull over to take pic but the problem is it is 2 lanes road & no room to pull over.
EDITED TO ADD **We went to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA**. I'm sorry that I forgot to mention that we went there on Friday.

Car window repair
Mike said that the roller thing that comes with motor is broken & need to replace the whole thing. Mike think he might have broke it when he took the door panel apart few weeks back to fix the lock on door panel & he did some damage to the roller & Mike said the other guy at shop did rough around with it last summer when we took it in to get the window fix. They both being too rough with the window roller & they think they did damage to it. LOL Now Mike have to buy the whole new roller & we laughed at him because it's his fault & he gotta pay for it. LOL He think it's funny that it is his fault. We have rule here that one of us break it & pay for it depends on how you break it. It cost $320 to replace it including parts & labor.
This is small part that cannot be replaced by itself because it was built with the entire roller. That small part is the one Mike believe himself & the mechanic broke it (from last summer or so).
Here's the entire roller & you can see the small block (on your left) is a motor:
My neighbor's trees ~
My neighbors, Mark & Sharon, hired tree service to cut down their massive row of pine trees.
The history behind the neighbor's house & trees. Mike's friend used to live there & he moved away. Then Gwen & her husband move in sometimes in late 70s to early 80s. She is gardener & love plant many flowers/bushes/trees all over her yard. She planted those trees to lined up her property to obstruct the view of traffic. Gwen & her husband had to sell the house in mid 90s to move in with her husband's mom who was ill. Mark & Sharon moved in late 90s & live there ever since. In June 2006, the storm destroy Galestown bridge/dam which caused insects infested on our trees, bushes & flowers & it gotten so bad & killed a lot of plants/trees. They finally built the bridge/dam back in 2007-2008 before our Sophie was born. Sallie (Mike's Mom) have been living here since late 60s & saw so much change in the neighborhood. Her aunt, Rita, who live across from Mark & Sharon (just around the block from us) have lived here nearly her whole adult life. We don't know what's going on with those trees being cut down ~ all we knew is they want to cut them down for years. We will find out more from Ms Rita what are they planning to do ~ leave it like that or plant new trees.
Sallie is kind of happy gal right now because she always love the view of pond & her neighbors' houses for years til Gwen planted those trees. Also the breeze always come off the pond & those trees always block the breeze to our way.
Those trees are the ones they're cutting down along their property (those are remaining trees that haven't been cut down yet or not). Took this pic from the backyard:

Here's beautiful view of the pond & the bridge. There were trees that obstructed the view for us & we couldn't see anything before this. Now it would be easier for me to watch for girls' school bus coming home. We are happy to see they cut down those trees.
Front of our driveway ~ all trees are gone. Now we are able to view our neighbor's yard:
Those trees haven't cut down yet ~ don't know how far they are going to cut down those trees. As you can see right in front of you, the trees are damage due to insects.
That's where the crew left off from yesterday (see the difference between closure & opening)

Our Fourth of July ~
@ Hebron Firemen Carnvial, MD
We love it there at Hebron, MD ~ family friendly & carnival was opened & oh man! Many people but fun & friendly. Girls went on 2 rides & the rides were closed due to fireworks. The fireworks started at 10pm. We are going back next week to used up the rest of ride tickets. We park at good place because we could put girls on car hood & we stand next to them. Girls were impatiently for an hour but they were happy when the fireworks went off. The traffic wasn't so bad & the people were friendly on letting one other to take their turn. Much better than Laurel, DE where there are more aggressive drivers & full of teens. Definitely going back there next year. I met a grandmother of 4 going onto 5 yrs old twin girls ~ their birthday is on August 15th. She couldn't believe my girls are only 3 going onto 4. LOL Because my girls are taller & thinner than her girls ~ her girls a little short & chubby like babies. But her granddaughters are so cute. We didn't bring Sophie because we don't know how she would react & she might be upset & girls will get upset that Sophie is upset & leave in the middle of fireworks. But she had her own fireworks right at home & we were surprise that our town held fireworks show that we never knew.
Here are the girls deck up in red, white & blue (Sophie's first Fourth of July):

Flag Day Cake & Water Balloon Fight
Sarah put the blue food coloring in white cake mixture ~
Girls are enjoying the mix batter ~ good old days
Water balloon fight while cake being cool off. I got wet more than girls did. They keep freaking out if I plan to throw them the balloons. I was trying to play balloon catch & they think they're gonna get hurt. LOL
