My elbow hurt!!

I got stung by queen bee & this is second time. It must've happened while I was cutting the grass & didn't feel the stung but thought it was just other bug bite which I got some on my body. Horseflies were everywhere yesterday in the backyard. So it start to irritate & swelling ~ I didn't treat it right away because I thought it was bug bite. Now it is wasp stung. It hurt so bad!! I hate it when it happened!!

Freaking car!!!

Mike came home from the car shop tonight & told me that he paid $41 for labor to find out what's wrong with door panel because we were having problem with the lock. He believe it was bad rod & need new one. So the mechanic told him it's more than that. He said that they have to order the parts & will cost us $241 to get the parts & labor. Mike went what?! Forget it.

Some of you don't know that we are having problem with lock on the driver's side door ~ you have to push the lock to unlock hard & push the door open hard. If you put the car in drive/reverse, it automatic lock but when you turn off the car & it unlock all doors except the driver's door. They told us over the phone that they believe it will cost us $78 for everything but they found more problems than they guess over the phone.

AAAHH!!!

Exhausting day

Got the grass cut (backyard) & dealt with girls. At least they behaved most of day. We had storm warning coming & we went out to break all those branches & stuff them in trashbags to get them set out for tomorrow trashday. Sallie & I hurry to get it done (3 bags full) but the storm hit here ~ just thundering & lightning & nothing major.

now I'm having quiet evening at home to stitch a wedding gift for our friend who is getting married in July.

I'm tempt to show Kris' gift here but I want her to be surprise in the mail.

My date with Mike last night!

We went out last night to Zia's after I got upset with Mike that he came back home empty handed (dmc floss for my cross stitch project). So Mike apologized & we went back out again. We went to Target because I keep hearing how the ladies love Sterilite 7 craft drawer cart. Mike & I checked it out but the problem is he think it is too big & he told me that I should keep the storage for floss on closet shelf. Mike said that it would be easier for me to pull out the drawer to find floss in sandwich ziplock bags. I told him that I was tired of hauling down the storage box (I bought those storage boxes from Wal-Mart in hardware dept ~ it's mainly for nails, screw, whatnots drawer storage box) & it was getting heavy plus make it difficult for me to bring down the boxes with girls around (will take pics). So Mike agreed after saw me struggling with them. So we bought 2 of them & I will put the floss in ziplock sandwich bags & marked it in numbers. I will mark on the drawer what code numbers of floss that drawer holds. It would be easier to pull it out to find it than take the whole box down. If we need more box & we will go back to Target to get the 3rd one.

Mike just bought older Nintendo online. We realized that he shouldn't have sold the nintendo system because it would be fun for girls to play. So they wouldn't have to spend all the times outside. So on quiet evening, rainy day or hot day, they could play games.

Girls got sunburn & I couldn't believe it.

Aaaahhh!!!!

The day don't seem getting better for me!! Things were going good til I went outside to start up the lawn mower & the pull thing to start the motor snap off inside the motor. I went now what?! I texted Mike about it & he was disappointed in what happened. He is driving his mom to the doctor & grocery shopping. I want to cut the grass while girls playing outside but the day is ruin. Mike came home & fixed the lawn mower. He said it didn't break ~just that the rope just got disconnected like screw would come loose & he got it fix with no problem. Then I decided to ask him where's my dmc floss? He went oh man! I said no! He said I completely forgot & told me that I should remind him but how could I after him being upset about lawn mower's rope? I knew he want to get home immediately but thought he would remember to shop for floss. Michael's in Salisbury is the only place have floss. I used to shop at Wal-Mart which is nearby til Wal-Mart pulled all cross stitch supplies from the stores; but Salisbury is about 20 mins from where we live. I hate shop for floss & other things so far from me. I don't drive to Salisbury because I hate the traffic there & reckless drivers. I asked him that I want 7 craft drawer that found in Target & he didn't go there because of lawn mower.

My favorite needlework shop is in Ocean City ~ it's called Salty Yarns. Very nice staff & very friendly with me especially Sara (the owner's daughter). I wish I live closer to that shop. They got about everything that cross stitcher needs. I told Mike the other day that I should open up the needlework shop somewhere in Sussex county & he chuckled.

I don't know what I'm gonna do about Sarah ~ lately she is having accident with her urine. Just now she said I gotta go & I told her go! The bathroom was available & wondering what is she waiting for. She said I can hold it. I said no you don't hold it ~ just go when you have to go! She said okay okay & walk in the bathroom & peed on herself. She does this often & I don't know what I'm gonna do with her. She haven't had problem with this before. I think she's begging for attention.

Our day with Mike

Here is the pics of Mike's small surprise party:

He got Cars ~ McQueen & Ghostlight cars from the girls. He got remote car of Jeff Gordon from NASCAR. He love playing with it & said woohoo. LOL

Here's Sophie ~ she love playing with balloons & it was everywhere after I cut off the ribbons & left the balloons on the floor. She crawled through it & smack the balloons away. LOL It's her first experience with the balloons. She love the lasgana for dinner & oh boy, doesn't she love the cake? She want more & more & more til I said enough. LOL She's only 8 mos old & love the cake already. She might have sweet tooth just like her Daddy.

Here are the girls all decked up for Daddy on his birthday. The girls were on their good behavior except moment with the balloons. LOL They're dang tired & pass out in the beds. They had so much fun today.

Uh oh ~ here's first look of Mike came through the door & he was surprise. He said we all hid the stuff pretty good in the house & I told him no, we went out to stores today & he was surprise. LOL He didn't think we would go out & shop at the last minute.

Here's our works but I do the most works. We have hallway kitchen which I hate so much. I decorated the dining room. His birthday theme is car race with Cars because he's going to his first NASCAR race this weekend.

Here's the cake that Sallie bought for Mike. They didn't have NASCAR theme & had this. We agreed that it's cutest cake we have seen & just what we look for. We asked to write 'Daddy' instead of 'Mike' because girls outnumber Sallie & I. LOL Also, Sarah pointed out to baker that cake is for Daddy ~ not Mike. LOL She knows his name but want it to said Daddy.

I picked up 3 bottles of Pepsi Throwback with natural sugar as I mentioned earlier. We all tried it tonight with our dinner. It taste like Coke but a little off & not sweeter like regular Pepsi. So far it isn't bad but...we all prefer original Pepsi. Beside both of them have same calories amount.

Home at last

Funny thing happened is girls were excited about balloons & pulling down every one of them to handed it to me. It got overwhelmed for me. I am dealing with 3 1/2 yrs old twin girls & not easy task. I picked 5 & somehow I must've mix up with 2 balloons by fighting with Faith or Sarah & got the Over the Hill balloon. I told Sallie (Mike's Mom) to look at the balloon while we were eating lunch & we laughed so hard because I told girls now you made me pick that balloon & we are calling Daddy old man. Girls went no!! I said oh yeah! Wait til Daddy gets home & he will feel bad. They giggled. I told his mom after all, Mike always complained like old man. LOL We didn't go back to exchange the balloon because we live about 15 mins outside of Seaford & we don't want to waste our trip beside it's funny thing. And that's the proof on how we dealt with twins in the stores ~ they will do anything to get your attention & make you forget this or that. I even locked my keys in the trunk & went in the store but I asked Sallie where's the keys? She said I don't have it. I had to pushed Sophie to her & make her stuck with girls while I run out to the car & praying that I didn't lock the car. I got to the car & the huge guy standing near my car & I tried to act normal & not stupid mommy. I found the keys hiding under all the bags that we carried out of Wal-Mart ~ Sallie forgot to pick up gift for Mike & that's why we went back in to hurry up. LOL We got Cars cake for Mike & some decors. I took some pics of the dining room. Now we are waiting for Mike to get home from Donn's (hair salon) because I told him that I got him nothing for his birthday & he should treat himself to haircut. So he is doing it. LOL Normally Mike isn't easy person to be surprise ~ he always know when things happened or what he is getting because he is spoil brat.

Now Mike is on his way home. I took some pics & will show them to you later when I get chance.

Oh by the way, did you know that Pepsi have new soda out? It's called Pepsi Throwback & made of natural sugar. I picked up 3 bottles for me, Mike & Sallie. Sallie said she used to drink Pepsi back in 60's & 70's where they used to make with natural sugar ~ not corn syrup.

We have tried look for it everywhere yesterday but couldn't find it. I saw that new Pepsi at small gas station nearby our home & didn't pick it up. So that's the only place have it & I stopped there today to pick up some. We haven't try it yet but we are waiting for Mike to get home to celebrate his birthday with new Pepsi, lasgana & Cars cake.

I finally finished

Sew the pillow together & now I have to sew the closing. Hopefully I will mail it out on Thursday or so.

Today's Mike's birthday.

Yesterday was nice day with girls & Mike. We took girls to speech therapy then we went to Cambridge to shop at Wal-Mart for girls' sneakers & shorts. I picked up some fabric to make something for Mike's sister, Lisa. Girls love their sneakers ~ it's Disney Princesses with light up on the bottom of shoes. Faith wouldn't take it off. We had to make her take it off before she goes to bed. LOL We went to Big Mario's Pizza & Playland & had pizza for lunch.

Why me?

I struggled to work on the blue fabric border & it keep coming out not even. I just gave up & rip out the yellow fabric border & fix it to match the blue fabric border. Now I got it even but the green fabric border was going good til the thread in compartment ran out. **mad** I gave up for the night.

Fun day!!

We had blast time at the park. We went to walk to the other side of baseball field to check out the old bridge & they met a boy who caught his first fish. But I had to be cautious with girls because there is no protection guard rail for their size & they can fall in. They did have guard rail but girls can fall between the rail (top/bottom). We came back & sat under the pavilion to drink some water (thank goodness that I remember to bring the water this time or we would have gone back home early). They went to play & had blast time. I took some pictures. I can't get over that they could do rock climbing all by themselves. This playground is built for 5 to 12 yrs old. They have toddler playground but girls find that more boring & love this older kid playground because it required a lot of climbing. I tried not to bite my nails or freak out everytime they risk the climb. I felt a drop or two (you will noticed dark clouds in the pics) & we have warning for rain (30% chance) but I warned girls that it might rain. They begged me another 5 mins. I said fine. The wind pick up & it was getting cooler & the water lapping got stronger by minute. I told girls I think we should go & they said no please. stay for another 5 mins. I said fine & they were having too much fun & didn't want to take that away. We stay on for few more mins & I told girls that I want to go back to other playground because I want to take pics of them on that playground & they agreed. On the way to playground, Sarah asked me to walk up close to the water (the park have small beach & you could walk up near the water) but the rain starting to come down. I went oh no it's raining & both girls have surprise faces on. I told them come on! We made run for it but it came down so hard. Sarah fell face down in the sand. I went oh no & ran back to her. She was laughing & I told her that I would dust her off. Come on! We ran to under the bridge & it was coming down harder. Sarah think it is funny & laughing. We have about 10 ft to run to the car & girls screaming & laughing while run to the car. Faith said no run mommy. LOL I laughed & thought girls are being coolest girls in the entire park. They were laughing & dancing & running around in the park. People look on & realized that rain don't hurt. They all came out under from pavilion & walk to the cars or went back to play. Sarah & Faith said come on mommy! It's fun. That make me remember how much I used to do that when I was girl back then & I love summer rain. It's girls' first summer rain & they enjoy it. It was good to see their faces light up & make fun out of it. When we got home, girls still playing in the rain til it stopped & we went in the house. Now girls are laying down for quiet time.

Sarah is in white shirt & Faith is in yellow shirt. Funny thing, Faith find it very challenge to climb the rock wall. She would get mad at Sarah for telling her or try to help her on climbing the rock wall. Sarah just climb up instant but Faith struggled at first few tries & she finally got it.

Off to next town's playground

Girls want to go to the next town's playground. I'm taking them. That town have small park for picnic, fishing, boating & more. they also have baseball field. They love their playground.

Frustrate!!

I have been trying to sew the project together & one border wouldn't come out straight. It keep coming out not even. Argh!! I quit for the night & play on computer. I will try again today. Hopefully I can get it this time. I never had this problem with others.

Quiet day at home

Mike have day off today & we are spending the day home. Just lazy day for us. Mike is looking forward to watch NASCAR ~ he's rooting for Jeff Gordon #24.

I have been working on a sewing project for my sweet friend. It's almost done. I'm gonna mail it out to my friend this week & when she receive it, I will share it with you all. I sure hope she treasure this gift. Thank you, Kris, for being a wonderful friend & stuck by me. **hugs**

I've been working on this project & that got me thinking about my other friend who was upset with me on personal issue. We had good relationship. I love her dearly & miss her very much. I would love to have her back as a friend & I miss chatty with her.

Girls have been playing outside. They were terrible during naptime & woke Sophie up by their screaming. Now Daddy is taking them outside to play.

Galestown Pond ~

We stopped at Ms Rita's house & she said we are welcome to walk to her backyard (overlook view of the Galestown Pond). We love stopping there to look at the water & enjoy the view. I took the girls there & Faith was exhausted from heat. She felt better when I told her to put her feet in the water & Sarah did the same thing. But that pond don't permit swim & they did long time ago. After the flood washed out the bridge/dam & they told the town no more swim & too dangerous.

First painting ~

Girls just had their fun with color paints today. That's their reward for good behaviors today. I'm gonna let them paint when they're on their good behaviors for the day. I need to find more fun rewards for their good behaviors. I'm welcoming any suggestions on rewards. Girls are out of school for 3 mos.

Strawberry Shakes all around!!

We did our first fresh strawberries shake & girls had fun especially they were eating ice cream instead of scoop in measurement cups. Everyone enjoy it & would eat it again.

Here's the recipe:
4 cups frozen strawberries (freeze the strawberries an hour or so)
8 to 10 tablespoons white sugar
2 cups french vanilla ice cream
1 cup milk
-Dump them in blender & have fun- Perfect serving size for 4 to 5 people

Today's girls' first vacation

We are gonna hit to walk to town's playground for a bit then come back to have quiet time. When girls get up, we will make strawberry shakes for everyone. That's our day!
